Responsible Photography Privacy Policy

Personal information

The information you provide such as name, and any special needs or dietary requirements is used to make your itinerary booking. Care is taken to ensure that this information is treated confidentially and securely. Controls on data protection in the countries in which itineraries take place are not necessarily as strong as the legal requirements in the UK. However, information passed to partners is only that which is necessary in processing your booking and organising your itinerary arrangements. In accepting your booking, you consent to your data being used to process your requested itinerary arrangements.

Data Protection

Gail and her partners do not pass on or sell any information collected about our participants. Gail may use information supplied, e.g. email and telephone number to keep you informed about Responsible Photography news and projects. If you do not wish to receive this information please advise Gail so you can be removed from her contact list. Gail does not provide information about her participants or enquiries unless required to do so by law.

Cookies and EU Cookie Law (May 26th 2012)

On May 26th 2012 the EU introduced a new website cookie law and Gail asks you to please read her website notice in conjunction with this paragraph. All Responsible Photography and Responsible Photography Holidays websites use session cookies, which means that the cookie only exists during your online session and disappears when you log off. The cookies cannot identify you personally, but Gail uses them to look at how users found the site, their referrer and location, which pages were viewed and which browsers and OS technology visitors use. The online shops and affiliate links will have their own Cookie policy which you will need to read; Gail is not accountable for their cookie usage.

Third party advertising Companies may use your information once you have clicked on an advert and been redirected to their website. Please read their Privacy Policy to find out if or how they use your information.

There are a few affiliate adverts on the site which have been selected because we hope they will be of interest or help. We may receive a tiny commission from sales to affiliate links, if we reach required targets. Any money earned will be put towards overheads of the Responsible Photography Projects. We have no direct connection with the services or products offered and cannot be held responsible or liable for any inaccuracies or inaccuracies on sites to which we affiliate, link, hypertext link or affiliate advertising sites. Nor can we be held responsible for their services, products or actions. We're happy to hear your feedback, especially if you find a product that is really good.
